EXCLUSIVE: photos of BofA’s new #OWS-themed ad campaign #WTF

the fuck is this shit.

Might be why they’re being vandalized…

may they be vandalized

LOLOLOLOL

Smash that shit.

LOLOL

This is like when rich white celebrities talk about “being Africa”

[image description: 3 photos of a Bank of America ATM with the printed slogans, “Building a better America, 1% at a time” and “Together, we are the 100%.”]

LOLing. That 1% one is just so snarky, like which 1% are we supposed to think they’ll start with?

But also, this goes back to my usual gripes with unity. I’m not interested in unity with assholes. I’m not interested in being oppressed by someone, and then them turning around and saying that we shouldn’t let that divide us, that we should just have unity. Especially when they then blame me for not wanting that unity.

Wait wait wait — I just read the image description and saw the “Building a better America, 1% at a time” slogan.  Are they fucking serious?  It’s the 1% that’s the better America, what everyone else is striving for?  It sounds like there’s some distant Utopia where EVERYONE is like them, but for now the only ideal, better sector of society we have makes up a mere 1% of our population.  A shame there’s so few to begin with, but they’re doing the best they can to uphold their station.

Edit:  Never mind, you guys, this isn’t real.

Edit edit: Well, it’s not real as in this isn’t a campaign by BoA, but it is real in that someone tagged a whole bunch of banks with these slogans.  That’s pretty awesome.

Cool, I was wondering how this could possibly be real. Good job whoever made those.
